Twene Jonas has been dragged to the shrine by Bechem Traditionalists to be cursed for allegedly insulting Asantehene. In a viral video, traditionalists poured libation over a slaughtered and sacrificed goat in a shrine, while inviting the gods of the land to punish the social media commentator for allegedly insulting the Asantehene.
In his latest rant about Galamsey destroying water bodies, Jonas slammed Ghanaian chiefs and leaders, saying, “even the Asantehene said if you are a chief and give people land to illegally mine in exchange for a goat, then it’s over to you.”
He went on to say in the controversial video that has gone viral that “Everyone in Ghana is a thief, and no one speaks the truth, including the Asnatehene. He couldn’t speak the truth, but if you look closely, you’ll notice that he is now listening to me “As a result, he must now speak the truth.
To add to the public outrage from some Asnates, some old men in the video below were filmed in the Bechem shrine invoking a curse on Jonas for his remark.
However, prior to the release of this video, Twene responded to a video of someone cursing him and explained what he meant in the controversial video, saying, “you people should go and curse NAM1, he is the one who owes a lot of Ghanaians.”
In the video below, he says, “to those who say I’ve insulted your chief, I’m not going to apologize to anyone because once the chief has polluted water bodies in his area, he is a fool.”
