University of Education Winneba successful held the 25th Virtual congregation


Tomorrow, 11th September, 2020, a total of 4,761 students would receive First Degrees and various Postgraduate Degrees from the Faculties of Agriculture Education, Science and Environment Education, Education and Communication Sciences, Business Education, Technical Education and Vocational Education from the Kumasi and Asante-Mampong Campuses

The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni urged graduands to serve with honesty, dedication, passion and patriotism wherever they find themselves and live true to the University’s motto: Education for Service as they proceed from UEW to work in the teaching and other fields across societies in the world.

Prof. Obeng Mireku

The Chairman of the UEW Governing Council, Prof. Obeng Mireku appealed to Government to support UEW realise its intent to build a modern Library Complex to provide learning support and research among students and faculty. 

“This would be the best support for the expanded access for university education for all qualified Ghanaian students. We would be most grateful if Government could build this Library for us. The University of Education, Winneba undoubtedly continues to remain focused on its mandate to be the leading teacher training University in Ghana and across Sub-Saharan Africa,” he reiterated.
